After returning from Canada 6 months ago and returning to work for World Trail I've managed to line up a few new things. I took a step back from racing this season for a few reasons but I feel it was for the best. I was lucky enough to sort out a new Specialized Enduro through World Trail and I think it was the best decision I ever made. The Enduro has got me stoked on riding more than ever, it's just super fun to ride.
I've also just scored a Specialized Demo through All Terrain Cycles up in Mansfield, Shannon from ATC is one of the big drivers in making Mt Buller one of the best Mountain Bike destinations in the country and considering I spend roughly 6 months over summer up at Buller it works out great. Thanks to Greg from SOLA Sports i'll continue running Fox Shox Suspension and it will be all dialled in thanks to Ken from Tekin Suspension. I'll also be running Royal apparel thanks to Rob from Jet Black, their new gear looks insane so I can't wait to test it out on the trails.
So it's taken me a while to get everything sorted but I've been riding XC a lot in the last 6 months and feel like i'm ready to race again. I might try enter the last Vic State Series and see if I remember how to race DH.
